Real estate forecast

According to the statistics In 2017, foreigners accounted for about 20 percent of the 576.396 billion baht (about 115.279 billion yuan) worth of transactions in the real estate market, with foreigners accounted for about 113.28 billion baht (22.656 billion yuan), said Mr Supa, chairman of the real estate research and evaluation centre at Thai real estate firm (AREA).

 

According to the statistics of the five major Banks, the average price of new buildings sold in Bangkok in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 3% compared with the previous quarter, and the supply increased by 35% compared with the first quarter of 2017. Average prices in Bangkok rose 5.6% compared with the previous year. International buyers reached 22% in proportion of Bangkok downtown investment.
